Mr Derek Williams
Senior Vice President at Oracle Corporation (Asia Pacific Division)

Based in Singapore, Mr. Williams oversees Oracle's operations in 28 countries in Asia Pacific, excluding Japan. In 1995, Mr. Williams was awarded an Honorary Professorship from the prestigious Shanghai Textile University, in recognition of his contribution to the development of the Chinese software industry. He was appointed in 1998 to the APEC Business Council's Board of Governors. In addition he serves on the boards of the Pacific Basin Economic Council (PBEC) and Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC). Prior to his present position, Mr. Williams served as Director of Oracle UK where he was responsible for strategic accounts and systems integration.
